There is little question that the Tenkara Method is one of the most deadly methods for catching trout in small streams due to the advantages of pinpoint casting and line control.

Tenkara not only shines in small streams, It is also a highly successful method in larger waterways.

Tips:

  • Maintain direct contact with the fly

  • Stealth will get results

  • Use a ‘bow and arrow’ cast in pocket water

  • Depending on your environment, choose between the Wandiligong, Cherry walk, Trek and Marbi rods with a 4-6 pound tapered rig and our Trout Trunk
